CALDAC Convention

2026 CALDAC Convention : A 4-Day Celebration of Afro Latin Culture through Music and Dance.
This annual event is a 4-day convention will be held at the Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver Conference Center from September 24 - 28, 2026. CALDACON attracts over 2,000 attendees each year, including dance/music artists and instructors from Colorado and all over the country. Over the course of the weekend, the convention will showcase 3 live musical bands, 90 live Afro-Latin dance performances, and 105 workshops. In addition, the event will provide certification programs offered by internationally recognized trainers for aspiring Afro Latin dance artists and instructors. CALDACON also encourages significant youth participation in the promotion and education of Afro Latin dance and arts. This convention will provide opportunities for the youth to train and perform on the big stage as they channel their creative energy constructively and positively.

2026 Nuggets v. Raptors Basketball Game & Official Latin Dance Party!

Join us for this all-ages, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity which includes Salsa/Bachata social dancing at the Ball Arena on the Denver Nuggets basketball court after the game.
This unique experience consists of pre-game social dancing, the Nuggets vs Raptors basketball game (Regular and VIP seating available) and the post-game social dancing on the court after the game.
Here is the current (tentative) itinerary for the night:

6pm : Pre-Game Salsa/Bachata dance social in exclusive conference suite

7pm : Nuggets vs Toronto Raptors Game (Regular and VIP seating available)

9pm : Post-Game Salsa/Bachata dance social in exclusive conference suite

10pm : Once-in-a-lifetime social dancing experience on the Nuggets Basketball Court at the Ball Arena.
*SNEAKERS ONLY ON THE COURT!*
The Denver Nuggets/Ball Arena organization have made it very very clear that we MUST NOT wear any kind of heels nor dance shoes on the dance courts. SNEAKERS ONLY!
Only the attendees that purchase their tickets to the game through the CALDAC "Nuggets Game and Salsa Dance Party!" would be granted access to the exclusive suite dance parties and court dance social. Season pass or other ticket holders will not be on our list and hence not granted access to the parties.
The start and end time of the game is tentative and highly depends on whether the game goes into overtime. All schedules around this are in high flux and should be planned for with flexibility accordingly.
A waiver will be sent to all attendees and needs to be signed by all attendees prior to entry.
All purchases are final. No refunds.
2025 RITMO FEST (FREE COMMUNITY EVENT)

Ritmo Fest is CALDAC's free community event hosted. This event is a high-energy, one-day celebration of Afro Latin dance and culture — packed with dance and music workshops, movement, connection social dancing. From 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., attendees dive into a dynamic schedule of classes in Salsa, Bachata, body movement, musicality and more, led by top instructors from Colorado and beyond.
The day wraps with an evening dance party/social, bringing everyone together to celebrate in motion, community, and rhythm.
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned dancer, Ritmo Fest offers something for everyone — a chance to learn, grow, and connect through the power of Afro Latin arts.
Hosted by CALDAC, Ritmo Fest is part of our mission to uplift culture, inspire movement, and build community through dance. Although this event is free, registration is required for attendance. Please register for free using this link.
